Today I was (reading your blog / thinking about your book / et cetera), and it is an intriguing idea my friends and I would like to discuss further with you.  We are organizing a conference called BIL on March 1-2nd in Monterey CA, and we'd like you to come and present your idea.

BIL is unconventional, it is self-organized by the attendees.  It is free for anyone to attend, and anyone attending is invited to speak. The kinds of people who go to BIL are interested in the (issues and ideas you discuss, be specific). I think you'd find BIL a great way to further your ideas, and I think you'd enjoy the other people who'll be there.
